Description:

Classification of video signal sources. System model for television programme production and distribution, reference network architecture, network protocols and technologies. Selection of network technology in accordance with video source characteristics and quality of service parameters. MPEG-2 signal distribution. Digital video broadcasting systems, network interfaces. Video signal transmission over Internet and mobile networks.
