Description:

Nonlinear phenomena: limit cycles, bifurcations, complex behaviour of dynamical systems and examples. Describing function. Input-output analysis and stability. Lyapunov theory of stability. Nyquist criterion of stability. Variational problems. Optimal control of systems. Pontryagin maximum principle. Bang-bang principle.
