Description:

High voltage (HV) laboratory; requirements and safety. Generation and measurement of high voltages and currents. Testing with power frequency, D.C. and lightning impulse voltages and impulse currents. Withstand characteristics of protective and testing equipment. Checking the metal-oxide surge arresters. Measurement of electric and magnetic fields. Measurement of earth electrode resistance of various structures. Measurement of the impact of high voltages and currents on the secondary equipment. Testing with impulse current of secondary equipment.
