Odjel za električne krugove i sustave bavi se teorijom, analizom, oblikovanjem (računalno potpomognuto oblikovanje), praktičnom primjenom krugova i primjena teoretskih metoda analize krugova na sustave i obradu signala. Ovo područje pokriva čitav niz aktivnosti od osnovne znanstvene teorije do industrijskih primjena.

Abstract: "Scrum" is a lightweight framework that helps people, teams and organizations generate value through adaptive solutions for complex problems. It has been shown to "deliver twice the work in half the time" of more conventional planning frameworks, and has been adopted by many successful companies and startups. It builds forth on the "Agile Manifesto" which is itself rooted in the Toyota production system as formulated by Taiichi Ohno.
The "Agile Manifesto" prioritizes people and interactions over processes (rules) and tools, effective solutions over documentation, customer collaboration over negotiations, addressing changes over following a plan. "Scrum" brings this theory to life by implementing a clever feedback mechanism which drives the teams towards higher levels of efficiency.
After an introduction on the key principles of Scrum provided along with examples from "real life", the practical implementation of those principles in the daily work of electronics engineers will be discussed. Then an attempt will be made to solve a realistic case using Scrum principles during an interactive exercise.

Biography: Renaud Gillon received the electrical engineering and the doctoral degree from Université catholique de Louvain in 1991 and 1998, respectively. He has been active in the microelectronics industry since 1998, starting as a modelling and RF characterization engineer at Alcatel Microelectronics, became manager of modelling groups in Alcatel Microelectronics and AMI Semiconductor and then program manager for R&D projects for ON Semiconductors. All positions were held on the site of Oudenaarde, Belgium. Renaud founded Sydelity in 2015, and is devoting all his time to this startup since Nov. 2021. Renaud is a member of the IEEE P2427 workgroup of analog fault models and test coverage, and also of the FIDES workgroup on system reliability.
