"Energy Transitions from a Grid Perspective"
koje će održati:

- Peter Vogel (Vice President Grid Consulting at Siemens Energy)
Vrijeme i mjesto: Ponedjeljak, 12. veljače 2024., 12.00, FER ZVNE D-244 (Istočna i Zapadna Europa).
Ukupno predvidivo trajanje predavanja je 60 minuta, a odvijat će se na engleskom jeziku sa sljedećim temama:
- O PRO INTEGRIS-u i Siemens Energy-u
- Razvoj mreža i elektroenergetskog sustava u posljednja dva desetljeća
- Naglasak na ključnim razvojnim temama (liberalizacija elektroenergetskog tržišta, inegracija velikih vjetoelektrana u sustav), izazovi u mreži (niska inercija, stabilnost, balansiranje sustava) i tehnologijama koje to omogućuju (HVDC, FACTS, baterijski spremnici, elektrolizatori, digitalizacija) s primjerima iz prakse
- Pregled aktivnosti i poslova uz primjere u Digital Grid (Grid Consulting i PRO INTEGRIS) vezano uz gore spomenute aktivnosti
Predavanje je otvoreno za sve zainteresirane, a posebno pozivamo djelatnike, studente, istraživače te kolege iz industrije koje zanima ova vrlo aktualna tema te koji vide mogućnost potencijalne suradnje.

Ivan Višić received his Master of Electrical Engineering degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at the University of Zagreb in 1995 where he received his Master of science degree in 2003. He obtained his doctoral degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at the University of Zagreb in 2020. His research interests include substation automation, protection and control systems.
In 1997 he was employed by Končar Montažni inženjering p.l.c., as an engineer working on testing and commissioning of various power and industrial plants.
He was employed in the company Ekonerg Ltd. as an engineer in the Maintenance Control System Implementation Department from 1998 till 2000. In Ekonerg, he is focused on the implementation of the maintenance control system in power plants of the Croatian Power Utility (HEP).
From 2000 till 2007 he was employed in EXOR Ltd. working on design, parameterization, testing and commissioning of substation protection, control and automation systems. He was running the company’s office in Split from 2004, working on different power automation projects.
In 2007 he started PRO INTEGRIS Ltd with several colleagues. At the beginning he worked as the Chief Operation Officer. From 2016 onwards he is the Chief Executive Officer of this company.
Ivan Višić is a senior member of IEEE, and an active member of the B5 Study Committee of CIGRÉ. He is actively involved in the activities of several international CIGRE Working Groups dealing with substation protection automation and control systems.

Dr. Jody Verboomen received the Master’s degree in applied Electronics Engineering from Group T, Leuven, Belgium, in 2001, the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Power Engineering from K.U. Leuven, Leuven, Belgium in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree from the Delft University of Technology, Delft, the Netherlands, in 2008.
In 2008 he joined Siemens AG in Erlangen, Germany as a power systems consultant at Power Technologies International (PTI). From 2013 to 2016 he was heading Siemens PTI in the Middle East from Doha, Qatar and Abu Dhabi, UAE. From 2016 to 2021 he was heading the transmission system studies department at Siemens PTI in Erlangen, Germany.
In 2021 Dr. Verboomen joined Siemens Energy and was tasked with the ramp-up of a new Grid Consulting department.
Currently, Dr. Verboomen is the global head of Grid Analysis and Planning within the Grid Consulting team at Siemens Energy and is based in Erlangen, Germany.

Peter Vogel received his diploma in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Applied Science in Nuremberg (Germany) in 2006. He obtained Post-Graduate diploma in Advanced Management at European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) in Berlin in 2017.
He started his career as working Student in engineering of locomotives in Siemens AG in 2005.
He continued as project Manager in Industrial Steam Turbine Service in same company from 2006. till 2010. During this period, from 2008. to 2010. he obtained also role of Sales & PM Team Coordinator in Industrial Steam Turbine Service for Asia-Pacific. He continued as Head of Marketing & Sales in Industrial Steam Turbine Service, Region DACH in Siemens AG from 2010. till 2013.
After that, he obtained roles of Head of Global Field Service Operations in Industrial Steam Turbines in 2014., then role of Vice President of Regional Sales for Asia Pacific Transformers in Siemens Malaysia, Head of Innovation Sales of Transformers from 2018. till 2019. and finally role of Head of Sales and Operations for Europe & Africa Transmission Products in Siemens AG till 2020.
At the end of 2020. he joined Siemens Energy AG as Vice President of Transmission Hub, Europe & Africa Transmission Division. He stayed at this position till 2022. when he took the role of Head of Regional Sales for Europe in Grid Technologies. Currently, he is obtaining the role of Vice President of Grid Consulting in Siemens Energy, Digital Grid.
Peter Vogel is entrepreneurial driven manager with international experience in sales, project management and operations within the power services and energy management arena. Excels in stakeholder management across diverse cultures and recognized for his strategic and analytic business development skills with a demonstrated history of delivering tangible results.
