Poziv na predavanje "Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare: opportunities and challenges"

Abstract: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the field of healthcare, offering new opportunities for improved patient outcomes and streamlined processes. In this talk, we will explore the potential of AI in healthcare, including its applications in diagnosis, treatment, as well as in healthy living. We will also discuss the challenges that must be addressed to fully realize the potential of AI in healthcare, including data needs, safety, privacy, ethical considerations, and the need for collaboration between healthcare professionals and technologists. Through real-world examples, we will demonstrate the power of AI to revolutionize healthcare and improve the lives of patients.

Lecturer's CV: Prof. Dr. Milan Petković is the head of AI & Data Science R&D for Hospital Patient Monitoring at Philips and a part-time full professor at the Eindhoven University of Technology holding the chair on Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence. He is a member of several international standardization organizations, and several associations and public private partnerships including Big Data Value Association (BDVA) and AI Data and Robotics (ADRA) partnership with the European Commission, where he served as a Vice President or the member of the Board of Directors. He led several Dutch national and EU projects. He authored more than 25 patents and 100 journal/conference papers as well as several books including one on Data Science in Healthcare.
