„Control principles in distributed generation systems“
koje će održati Kateryna Klen s Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Kijev, Ukrajina, u četvrtak, 9.5.2019., u 11.00 sati, u Sivoj vijećnici Fakulteta elektrotehnike i računarstva, Unska 3, Zagreb.
Predavanje je na engleskom jeziku, a predviđeno trajanje s raspravom je 60 minuta. Predavanje je otvoreno za sve zainteresirane, a posebno pozivamo studente.

In the presentation, the problem of MPPT from renewable energy sources with providing the necessary operation regime for the storage battery will be researched. New principles and hierarchical levels of control will be discovered. Methods for primary energy flow data estimation will be described.
Born in 1989, Kyiv, Ukraine, she graduated in 2012 from National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” with master degree in “Electronic systems”. In 2016, she defended her PhD thesis “The control of operating modes of autonomous power systems converters”. Starting from 2013, she is working at National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” as assistant lecturer, senior lecturer and associate professor at Department of Industrial Electronics.
In 2017 and 2018 Kateryna participated in Erasmus+ mobility at Wrocław University of Technology, Poland and West Pomeranian Technical University, Szczecin, Poland. She is awarded with President Award for Young Scientists for work “The UPS system for urban electric transport”.
From 2012 to 2016, she took active part in IEEE volunteering: Vice Chair and Chair of IEEE KPI Student Branch, Vice Chair of IEEE Ukraine Section Young Professionals Affinity Group and IEEE Region 8 Young Professionals Subcommittee member.
Kateryna has over 50 scientific publications. Attended over 10 international scientific conferences. Her area of interest include control methods in distributed generation systems, such as Smart Grid and Micro Grid, MPPT for PV and wind power plants, and preemptive control principle and approximation of primary energy flow.
