Short abstract:
Mechatronics represent the state of the art approach for technical systems.
In the talk, the Institute for Mechatronic System in Mechanical Engineering
of TU Darmstadt is introduced and several mechatronic applications are
presented discussing specific attributes and benefits. Applications cover e.
g. an innovative transmission design for e-mobility and an approach for the active reduction of aircraft engine rotor vibrations using piezo actuators.
